KRSU and SPbPU discussed the development of joint projects at SPIEF 2026

As part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov attended a session «From beat to megawatt: how AI is changing the energy landscape».On the sidelines of the forum, Sergei Volkov met with rector Andrei Rudskaya and the team of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The parties discussed the implementation of the roadmap for cooperation between KRSU and SPbPU, as well as the prospects for joint educational and scientific projects.Particular attention was paid to training programs for students and schoolchildren in the field of artificial intelligence, engineering education and digital technologies, the development of academic mobility and project-based learning.During the session, experts noted the need for synchronous development of artificial intelligence and energy. According to the panellists, modern digital technologies are becoming an important tool for improving the efficiency of the energy industry and require long-term infrastructure planning.Cooperation between KRSU and SPbPU remains one of the key study programs international partnerships of the university and contributes to the introduction of advanced educational practices and technologies.
