On the sidelines of the Sixth Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum, held in Bishkek, an important Agreement was signed between the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) and Technopolis "Khimgrad". The document opens up new prospects for joint work on the creation of a Technopark on the basis of KRSU.
The technology park will become an innovative platform for the implementation of scientific and technical projects that contribute to the development of the economy of Kyrgyzstan and improve the level of training of specialists. It is planned that the project will bring together students, teachers and business representatives to develop and implement modern technologies.
KRSU Rector Denis Fomin-Nilov commented on the signing of the Agreement:
«This is a significant step for our university. The creation of the Technopark will not only improve the quality of education, but also make our contribution to the development of the country’s innovation infrastructure. We are confident that cooperation with Technopolis "Khimgrad" will become a driver for many promising projects».
The signing of the Agreement was another confirmation of the active role of KRSU in strengthening scientific and economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
