KRSU has prepared a Guide for freshmen: Useful information in one place
A new guide has been created for KRSU freshmen, including all the necessary background information for a successful start to study and adaptation to the university. This unique resource will help students understand the main aspects of the educational process, provide access to important contacts and introduce them to the opportunities that open up for them at a new stage in life.
The guide was designed to meet the needs of first-year students and covers key topics that will help them adapt to university life: It explains in detail the rules of study, the features of the credit system, information about class schedules and the system of access to electronic resources.
The guide also details opportunities for scholarships and other forms of financial support for students, as well as available living grants.
The university offers a wide range of opportunities for extracurricular activities: sports sections, clubs, cultural events. The guide will tell you how to join the student community and participate in the life of KRSU.
One of the key advantages of the guidebook is its availability in electronic format, which allows students to quickly find the necessary information from any device. Regular updating of the data is also planned to ensure that the guidebook is always up to date.
Aleksandrov Pavel, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy at KRSU, noted the importance of the guide for the successful adaptation of freshmen:
"For freshmen, university — is not just about studying, but also about a new environment, new friends and challenges. Our guidebook was created to facilitate this transition, to help children feel confident and comfortable from the very beginning. We strive to ensure that every student can take full advantage of the opportunities that KRSU provides and feel supported at every stage.'
Electronic version of the guide already available on the official website KRSU. In addition, printed versions will be distributed at orientation meetings held for new students throughout September.
