KRSU raises the level of education
The medical direction of study of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University has successfully passed international accreditation. As a result of its implementation, three specialties – «General Medicine» (with Russian and English languages of instruction), «Pediatrics» and «Dentistry» – passed the test in accordance with international requirements for the quality of medical education. Thus, the university was able to continue recruiting foreign applicants for these specialties.
This is not the only victory for KRSU in the educational services market, achieved in 2023. Thus, general education programs of primary general education, basic general education, secondary general education of the university secondary school program have passed state accreditation with the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
In addition, 2 specialties of secondary vocational education were subject to independent accreditation according to the requirements of the Kyrgyz Republic – «Economics and accounting (by industry)», «Design (by industry)».
The independent accreditation of 8 study programs master's programs according to the requirements of Kyrgyzstan («Physics», «Political Science», «Jurisprudence», «Philology», «Economics», «Management», «Electric power and electrical engineering», «Software engineering») was successfully completed.
The university has opened new educational programs in 11 areas of master's degree, licensed by Rosobrnadzor. These include – «Architecture», «Architectural environment design», «Construction», «Infocommunication technologies and communication systems», «Electric power engineering and electrical engineering», «Technology of transport processes», «Operation of transport and technological machines and complexes», «Psychology», «Journalism», «Religious studies», «Instrument making».
Another 7 study programs master's degrees – «Infocommunication technologies and communication systems», «Operation of transport and technological machines and complexes», «Technology of transport processes», «Psychology», «Architecture», «Design of the architectural environment», «Construction» – received licenses from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The specialty «General Medicine» for foreign citizens with English as the language of instruction received a license from the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan.
Also KRSU has started to implement three basic doctoral programs (PhD) in three specialties – «Applied mathematics and computer science», «Economics», «Translation and translation studies».
The licenses and certificates received – are the university’s prospects for the subsequent expansion of the range of educational services and positioning the university as a multidisciplinary and dynamically developing university.
