KRSU presented approaches to training mining engineers at a congress in Moscow

Advisor to the Rector of KRSU on international interaction Marina Yurchenko and Director of the Polytechnic Institute German Lotsev took part in IV International Congress «Russian Engineer» at MSTU named after N. E. Bauman.

The Congress brought together representatives of science, education and industry to discuss the training of engineers and the development of modern technology. One of the central themes has been the role of universities in providing technological leadership. The plenary discussion «Catching up cannot be – getting ahead: leadership technologies» focused on strategic priorities for engineering education and integrating scientific research with manufacturing.

German Lotsev spoke on III All-Russian Conference «New personnel of the defense industry», held within the framework of the congress, with a report «Project-oriented training in the training of modern mining engineers».

Conference participants discussed targeted training, interaction between schools, universities and enterprises, as well as the formation of educational and career trajectories of young specialists. During the visit, representatives of KRSU met with the project manager «Mentors: Without Borders», head of the Department for International Activities of MSTU named after N. E. Bauman Tatyana Dmitrieva.
