KRSU invites students to participate in the inter-university conference «Shanghai Cooperation Organization Model» to be held on February 22, 2025.
What is the SCO Model?
The SCO – model is a simulation conference during which students will be able to learn in practice the principles of work of international organizations. Participants (delegates) represent different countries, negotiate, develop joint solutions and learn diplomacy. The main task of each delegate is to constructively convey the position of their country and come to the adoption of a communiqué on the agenda.
Committees and agenda:
Council of Heads of State of the SCO
Topic: «Strategy for sustainable development of the SCO region: joint efforts to overcome the consequences of climate change».
Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure (RATS)
Topic: «Modern threats of cyberterrorism and countermeasures in the SCO countries».
SCO Department of Humanitarian and Cultural Cooperation
Subject: «Development of intercultural dialogue as a way to overcome xenophobia and discrimination».

Registration: January 31 to February 9, 2025 by following the link → Google Forms
Writing a position report: after distribution to committees until February 21.
Conference: 22 February 2025 in KRSU.
Working language: Russian.
Form of participation: full-time.
