KRSU took part in the presentation of an interactive map of WWII monuments

KRSU took part in the presentation of the digital register of monuments and memorials erected in memory of the feat of Kyrgyzstanis in the Great Patriotic War.

The initiator of the event was the Kyrgyz Society of Siege Survivors of Leningrad and the movement «May 9». The presentation took place at the Museum of the History of the Siege of Leningrad.

The interactive map will allow schoolchildren and students to clearly see all the fraternal memorials and monuments of the Great Patriotic War in the palm of their hand, learn their history, and the interactive map will display all the lists of those killed during the Second World War – memorial places.

Thus, we receive a digital register of our common historical heritage in the Kyrgyz Republic, which will allow, when additional options are activated, to monitor online the condition of all monuments in all even the most remote villages and regions.
