KRSU hosted the participants of the SCO Model conference

On February 22, 2025, an interuniversity conference "Model of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization" was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. It was attended by students who had to reproduce the work of the SCO in the format of an educational role-playing game.

Three committees worked during the event: the SCO Council of Heads of State discussed the strategy for sustainable development of the region, the RATS Executive Committee analyzed the threats of cyber terrorism, and the Department of Humanitarian and Cultural Cooperation considered issues of intercultural dialogue.

Each delegate represented his country's position, participated in negotiations and proposed solutions to current international issues. The result of the work was the adoption of official communiqués.

All participants received certificates, and the best were awarded in the categories "Best Position Report" and "Best Delegate". The event was organized by KRSU and the UN Model Association in Kyrgyzstan. The conference became an important platform for students to develop diplomatic, analytical and communication skills.
