KRSU joined the consortium «Caspian – East»

On February 17, a delegation from the North Caucasus Federal University, consisting of Director of Educational Policy Vasily Ivanov, Associate Professors Anatoly Alikhanov and Mikhail Babenko, visited the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University on an official visit.

The guests were warmly greeted by representatives of KRSU – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Salavat Usmanov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Valery Lelevkin, Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations Leonid Sumarokov, deans of faculties.

The parties discussed issues of developing academic interaction, in particular, they discussed the consortium «Caspian – East», the purpose of which is to develop and implement effective forms of academic and scientific cooperation, providing a set of measures aimed at developing scientific, educational, cultural and humanitarian cooperation in the field of study and teaching of the Russian language, strengthening the integration of the scientific and educational space of universities in the countries of the Caspian region, Central Asia and the Middle East. Soon, an agreement will be signed between KRSU and NCFU on the creation of this consortium and the inclusion of our university in its composition.

It was the North Caucasus Federal University that initiated the creation of the consortium «Caspian Sea – East». It will unite universities from nine countries (Russia, Syria, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan; negotiations are underway with universities in Iran and Jordan).
