KRSU joined the international congress dedicated to the Russian language
On December 7, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took over the baton of the International Scientific Congress «Russian language in the global scientific and educational space» – a plenary session was held in the conference hall of the main building in the direction «Current problems of bilingualism and dialogue of cultures».
The participants of the discussion platform were greeted by the rector of KRSU, academician Vladimir Nifadiev. He noted that the congress was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and the direct inspirer of the event is the State Institute of Russian Language named after. A.S. Pushkin.
«All Russian national universities take part in the congress – Russian-Tajik, Belarusian-Russian, Russian-Armenian and Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic universities. All these educational institutions are preachers of the Russian language and culture in their countries. Promoting the Russian language in the CIS – an important task set by Russian President Vladimir Putin, and we are fulfilling this order», – said V. Nifadiev.
The head of the Russian delegation, associate professor Elena Koltakova noted that the State Institute of Russian Language named after. A.S. Pushkin and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University have many years of cooperation experience, over the years of which strong partnerships have developed between universities.
«The International Scientific Congress united the academic, scientific and pedagogical community, all those who are not indifferent to the Russian language, study and teach it. The Congress is an expert platform that will expand and strengthen the friendly ties that have already developed between its participants, and also acts as a discussion platform for the exchange of experience and opinions between employees, teachers, teachers engaged in methodological and scientific work», – said the vice-rector for educational work of the State Institute of Russian Language E. Koltakova.
Advisor to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic Viktor Kharchenko thanked the organizers of the congress for useful and active initiatives to promote the Russian language abroad.

Today, the situation with the Russian language requires deep understanding and analysis, so the proposals and recommendations made at this international congress can help in leveling language policy».
