KRSU held an action «Waltz, songs and poems of Victory» at the monument to Panfilov in the village of Panfilovskoye
Today students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin visited the village of Panfilovskoye, Chui region, where they held a patriotic event «Waltz, songs and poems of Victory».
Students gathered in front of the monument to the hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Vasilyevich Panfilov, commander of the legendary division, famous for its heroic battles against the Nazi invaders near Moscow in the fall-winter of 1941.
At the foot of the monument to Ivan Vasilyevich Panfilov, poems, war songs and a waltz — were heard as a symbol of gratitude and memory of those who fought for a peaceful sky.
Everything happened in a special, warm and respectful atmosphere.
It is especially symbolic that the monument to Panfilov, where the action took place, is currently under restoration — on the initiative of our university.
The action became part of the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, and is aimed at preserving historical memory and instilling patriotism among young people.
