An international student scientific and practical teleconference was held at the Faculty of Humanities, organized by G. A. Vakhitova, associate professor of the department of theory and practice of the English language and intercultural communication.
The event was attended by students and teachers from the Chuvash State Pedagogical University named after. AND. Ya. Yakovlev, Bishkek Humanitarian University named after. K. Karasaev, International University in Central Asia and Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
Associate Professor of the Department of English Philology and Translation Studies of ChSPU E. N. Mozzhegorova made a welcoming speech to the participants, noting the history of the development of the department and the importance of the teleconference for strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The teleconference was held in English and was devoted to a topical issue: “Do young people care about learning foreign languages?”
Students presented papers in key areas reflecting current trends in foreign language learning with practical significance:

• Globalization: How the Modern World Transforms Language Learning
• The Role of AI Tools in Supporting Foreign Language Skills
• Languages in Harmony: Bilingualism and Multilingualism in a Global World
• Psychological Aspects of Learning English
• Teachers and Bloggers: Coexistence in Modern English Education
• Motivation of Future Teachers in Achieving Academic Progress.
The students were highly active and demonstrated skills in forecasting, analytical work, benchmarking and monitoring.
Representatives of ChSPU thanked the organizers for the invitation and expressed their readiness to continue cooperation between the departments. Students of the department were invited to participate in binary sessions and student events in spring 2026.
