KRSU became a participant in «Total Dictation»

Kyrgyzstanis, among citizens of 43 countries, took part in the «Total Dictation». One of the goals of this educational event, which took place on April 8, was the intention of the organizers to unite everyone who knows how or wants to write and speak Russian. The text for the dictation, written by Russian writer Vasily Avchenko, is dedicated to the traveler, writer, and researcher of the Far East Vladimir Arsenyev.

In Bishkek, connoisseurs of the Russian language gathered at four sites, three of which were organized at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, one at the Gazprom school. The total number of participants will be known after summing up the results of the dictation – the event was held online and offline.

As Damira Moldobaeva, senior lecturer at the Russian language department at KRSU, who read the text of the dictation and took part in the action not for the first time, noted, «Total Dictation» became a holiday of the Russian language, arousing interest among students. It is noteworthy that at KRSU, future engineers checked the level of Russian language proficiency along with students of the Faculty of Humanities. This became possible thanks to the coordinated work of the teaching staff of the Russian Language Department, who managed to convey to students the importance of holding the event for their professional training. The coordinator «of Total Dictation» at the university was the head of the international cooperation department, Yulia Kalyuzhnaya.
