KRSU strengthens academic mobility and develops joint projects with Chinese universities
Delegation of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) named after B.N. Yeltsin, under the leadership of the first vice-rector of KRSU Azamat Naimanbaev, visited China to strengthen academic mobility and develop joint projects with Chinese universities. The delegation included the head of the OP «Master's and PhD Doctoral Studies» KKI A.Z. Moldobaeva, chief specialist of the institute U.A. Eresheev and Deputy Director of the KKI for Research R.B. Kochorbaeva.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Vice-Rector of Shandong Specialized Scientific and Technical University, Ms. Xiu Xiaoyan, the Head of the International Relations Department, Mr. Tang Qingguo, and the State Secretary of the International Relations Department, Ms. Xiu Haijiang. The round table discussed academic mobility in 2+2, 3+1, 2+1 programs at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels. The parties also considered ways to develop bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and China in the field of education, and prospects for creating workshops specialized in studying technologies of new energy sources.
Particular attention was paid to programs for the exchange of experience between teachers to improve qualifications and exchange knowledge. The KRSU delegation made presentations in the cities of Weifang, Jinan and Jining, located in Shandong Province. At the end of the meeting, representatives of educational institutions in Shandong expressed confidence that cooperation between our universities will contribute to the development of the educational sector of both countries and the enrichment of cultural exchange.
Naimanbaev emphasized: «Our visit to China and the agreements reached are an important step towards the development of international cooperation. Academic mobility and joint projects with leading Chinese universities open up new opportunities for our students and teachers. We are confident that such interaction will strengthen KRSU's position in the international arena and contribute to improving the quality of education».
