KRSU strengthens the cultural bridge between Russia and Kyrgyzstan

Letters of gratitude continue to arrive at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University – in 2023, university staff continued the already good tradition of expanding the material and technical base of Russian language classrooms in schools in Kyrgyzstan.

Bishop Savvaty of Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan expressed gratitude to acting of the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University German Lotsev for the design of the Russian language office at the school of St. Prince Vladimir of Bishkek, noting the active work of the university in the development and popularization of the Russian language.

IN THE text of the letter it says: «The importance of the Russian language in the Kyrgyz Republic is difficult to overestimate, which means its promotion – is a responsible and important matter. Thanks to your care, within the walls of our secondary school, students will be able to plunge into the great wealth of the Russian language and literature, get acquainted with the achievements of poets, scientists, politicians and other great people whose works were published in Russian. Another significant component of the Russian language is the integration role –this is a cultural bridge between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, great prospects for the younger generation, as well as cultural exchange between our states».
