KRSU strengthens scientific ties with St. Petersburg

In Smolny, the residence of the Government of St. Petersburg, a meeting was held between the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) Evgeniy Shekunov and the Director of the St. Petersburg Science Foundation Yuri Alekseevich Snisarenko.

The main topic of the meeting was a discussion of the prospects for grant support for scientific research at KRSU and strengthening partnerships with universities in St. Petersburg.

The Vice-Rector of KRSU noted the importance of scientific cooperation within the framework of the development of interuniversity relations: "Science today — is a bridge between countries, regions and universities. Supporting scientific initiatives makes it possible not only to develop research, but also to train specialists who are ready to respond to the challenges of our time.'

Yuri Alekseevich Snisarenko, for his part, emphasized that the St. Petersburg Science Foundation is open to cooperation: "We are ready to support innovative projects that strengthen scientific potential and provide practical value for society."

This meeting was an important step in the development of KRSU’s partnership with leading scientific organizations in Russia, strengthening the role of the university as one of the key scientific centers of Central Asia.
