Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University opens the International Institute of Additional Professional Education and Personnel Engineering in partnership with the Higher School of Economics
On April 1, 2025, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin (KRSU) in partnership with the National Research University «Higher School of Economics» (HSE) opens the country's first International Institute of Additional Professional Education and Personnel Engineering. The solemn event will be held under the patronage of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation within the framework of an international expert session «Continuing education and business: international partnership in the context of sustainable development of the Kyrgyz Republic».
The International Institute of Additional Professional Education and Personnel Engineering will be an important step in the development of continuing education in Kyrgyzstan and the countries of Central Asia. The main goal of the institute is to train a new generation of specialists with modern competencies in the field of digital technologies, business, international cooperation and creative industries. As part of its partnership with the HSE, the institute will implement best educational practices and programs developed taking into account the current requirements of the global labor market.
The opening of the institute will take place in the main building of KRSU and will become the central event of an international expert session that will bring together leading representatives of the academic and business communities. The discussions will include:
•Andrei Sergeyevich Lavrov, Senior Director, National Research University Higher School of Economics;
•Volkov Sergey Yurievich, acting rector of KRSU;
•Skalon Elena Nikolaevna, director of the Institute of Additional Professional Education, National Research University Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg;
•Rakhmatov Sabir Narynbekovich, General Director of LLC «Alliance Altyn»;
•Zimin Mikhail Borisovich, founder of TS Solution.
As part of the event, strategically important cooperation agreements will be signed between KRSU, HSE, TS Solution, the Center for Public Private Partnership under the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as Russian and Kyrgyz companies. These agreements will form the basis for the implementation of joint educational, scientific and technological initiatives aimed at developing the knowledge economy and digital transformation.
The International Institute of Further Professional Education and Personnel Engineering will provide training in popular areas, such as:
•Foreign languages and international cooperation;
•Digital competencies and computer science;
•Creative industry and design.
The programmes will be developed in partnership with the world's leading universities. Training will be conducted in a hybrid format using modern digital educational platforms.
The opening of the International Institute of Additional Professional Education and Personnel Engineering at KRSU will be the starting point for the development of the educational and economic environment of Kyrgyzstan and the region as a whole. This is a new step in the development of international cooperation, providing Kyrgyz students and professionals with access to advanced educational standards and career opportunities at the global level.
