Kyrgyzstan and China: 30 years of successful interaction
On December 22, an interuniversity youth forum «Kyrgyz-Chinese friendship belt – 30 years of successful interaction» was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the People's Republic of China.
The event was organized by the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University with the support of the Confucius Institute at BSU. K. Karasaev.
Participants in the forum included government officials, teachers and students of higher educational institutions, as well as representatives of the media.
The official part of the forum was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic R. Kazakbaev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic Du Dewen, the rector of KRSU, academician V. Nifadiev.
The forum included plenary sessions, thematic discussions, discussion platforms on current topics related to international relations, entrepreneurship, cultural heritage, education, studying abroad, employment, career, sports, patriotism, etc. Students of KRSU, KNU and BSU made presentations.
A quiz on regional studies of Kyrgyzstan and China was also held, the participants of which were the KRSU team and the KNU team.
At the closing of the forum, a ceremonial presentation of certificates to all forum participants took place.
