KRSU healers took part in the Olympiad with swaddling!
On May 27, in the assembly hall of the State Children's Clinical Hospital of the Moscow City Children's Medical University, an Olympiad was held among 5th year students in the specialty «General Medicine».
Teams were formed from 5th year students. The team «Mustachioed Nanny» included: Anton Shushlebin, Nadira Omurbekova, Aidana Saparalieva, Vusala Safarova, Meerim Bolotova, Diana Ten, Aishat Salpagarova. The team «Pediatrics Club» was represented by Roman Kim, A. Aralbaeva, Aiperi Arinova, Dilyafruz Umurzakova, Anna Soladovnikova, Milana Chernikova, Ulyana Kim. The team «Breastfed» included: Shamil Abdykadyrov, Bogdan Sotnikov, Z. Amankulova, Roza Suyunova, Uulzhan Aliyeva, Malika Yusupova and Diana Igolnikova.
The Olympiad included a number of competition numbers:
1. «Business card» –each team presented an emblem, voiced the motto and greeted the jury and opponents.
2. «Ode to the subject» – defense by participants of a creative homework in which teams revealed the meanings of the academic discipline «Pediatrics» and the chosen topic. We chose the topic ourselves.
3. «Warm-up» – teams presented tasks in the form of slides.
4. «Clinical case» – students solved situational problems. It was necessary to find and justify the diagnosis, interpret blood tests and prescribe treatments.
5. «Strong-haired Kids», one student from each team participated in this task. Participants of the competition demonstrated manipulation techniques «swaddling».
6. «Question to the opponent» and «Scrabble» – with these two competition tasks, students were asked questions, puzzles and crosswords were solved.
The final program of the Olympiad was the «Art Competition».
The creativity of the Olympiad participants was assessed according to the following criteria: professional orientation; creative approach; originality; emotionality and expressiveness of performance; relevance of content.
Based on the results of the teams completing all competition tasks, the jury decided to distribute the places as follows:
Team «Breastfed» – 1st place,
Team «Pediatric Club» – 2nd place,
Team «Mustachioed Nanny» – 3rd place.
Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics Baktygul Isaeva acted as the initiator and organizer of the Olympiad.
