Media dialogue of the SCO countries: KRSU took part in the international forum

Head of the Information Policy Department of KRSU Nadezhda Sidorova took part in the Media Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, held in Bishkek as part of the forum on humanitarian relations of the SCO countries «Harmony of voices striving into the distance - a new path of development».During the event, the press secretary of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Askat Alagozov, read out an address from the head of state to the forum participants. It paid special attention to the role of the media in strengthening mutual understanding between countries.«It is journalists who shape peoples’ ideas about each other, helping to better understand the culture, values and aspirations of our countries», the president’s address notes.One of the key events of the forum was the launch ceremony in the SCO countries of the multilingual television project of the Media Corporation of China «Xi Jinping’s Favorite Catchwords», aimed at developing cultural and humanitarian interaction.Participants were also presented with documentary projects for the 25th anniversary of the SCO, the results of Sino-Kyrgyz cultural and humanitarian cooperation and public opinion research «The Impact of the SCO».The forum brought together representatives of the media community of the SCO countries and became a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience and development of international cooperation.
