International Fashion Week "AK-BUURA Fashion Week-2024" in Osh: KRSU students on the international stage

The International Fashion Week "AK-BUURA Fashion Week-2024" took place in Osh. This bright event brought together talented designers from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Students of the Department of Artistic Product Design, under the leadership of the head of the department, Maksutova Maksat, presented their projects along with collections of eminent masters, which allowed young talents to demonstrate their skills and see recognized standards of the fashion industry.

Particular attention was attracted by the collections of students of the ICT-1-21 group Taalaibek K. Meerim and Zharkynbaeva Aisalkyn, as well as students of gr. ICT 1-22 Alymkulova Ayana. They presented a modern ethnic collection, "Koksaray Ruhu", inspired by traditional Uzbek costume. Their work was notable for its harmonious blend of national motifs and contemporary trends, highlighting the richness and diversity of cultural heritage.

Alymkulova Ayana amazed the audience with her collection "Queen Ala-Too", in which the national elements of Kyrgyz costume were masterfully combined with modern design solutions. The collection received a special prize from the city hall
