International Day of Peace in KRSU
On September 21, 2021, at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin hosted a set of events dedicated to the International Day of Peace. Deputy Chairman of the Society of Siege Survivors of Leningrad of Kyrgyzstan Marat Kutanov noted that on this Day it is important to remember the tragic date of Russian history – the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the siege of Leningrad during the Great Patriotic War. The memorable date is not only a symbol of people’s courage, but also a message to the future – to preserve peace on earth!
