Interuniversity seminar

On March 5, 2020, an interuniversity seminar «Current problems of English language teaching methods at school and university» was held at the Department of Theory and Practice of English Language and Intercultural Communication of the Faculty of Humanities KRSU.

In addition to teachers from the Department of Theory and Practice of the English Language and Intercultural Communication KRSU, teachers from the Department of Computational Linguistics and Intercultural Communication of the Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture named after. N. Isanova, as well as 3rd and 4th year linguist students in the field «Methods of teaching a foreign language».

The seminar was organized by the employer – administration of the Bishkek school-gymnasium № 13 with in-depth study of the English language and teacher I. Matina-Malyarova.

The event was opened by the dean of the faculty, Professor A. Bekbalaev, who wished the students to develop in the direction they had chosen. The seminar was aimed primarily at a student audience, since students already at the initial stage of teaching need to become familiar with various teaching methods in practice, learn to feel like part of the teaching community, and also have the opportunity to tell colleagues about their achievements.

Guests and participants of the seminar in their reviews especially noted the informal friendly atmosphere that reigned at the event and expressed the hope that such student seminars will become traditional.
