The young researchers discussed modern scientific and technological innovations in English
On December 9, at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of KRSU, which for several years has held the palm in the level of language training of students among faculties, a conference of young researchers «Scientific and technical innovations in the modern world» was held.
The dean of the ETF, associate professor German Lotsev, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. He noted the importance of the event in training young scientific personnel for whom proficiency in English is an urgent need.
To participate in the conference, divided into two sections, teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages recommended 14 best presentations prepared by 1st-2nd year students, which were presented to the jury. The performances were evaluated by teachers and winners of last year's conference.
The speakers highlighted interesting, pressing problems, tried to find ways to solve them, and presented their messages in an original way. Competent command of the language of the conference participants was combined with their ability to retain the attention of the audience and create an atmosphere of dialogue. The questions of the listeners allowed the participants to outline further ways of researching the issues under study. The reports of many students were inextricably linked with their practical activities as website developers, participants in scientific and educational projects.
Based on the results in 1 section, the prizes were distributed as follows:
3rd place – Anastasia Samyleva (TTP-1-21) for the presentation «Security information systems».
2nd place – Adrian Drofa (EPM-1-21) for his presentation «International Turbomolecular Experimental Reactor».
1st place – Alexey Lysenkov (EPI-1-21) with a presentation «Interactive guide to the university» and Nursultan Zholdoshbaev (EPM-1-21) with a report «Artificial intelligence».
The winners of Section 2 were
3rd place – Mamataziz kyzy Aimeerim (EPI-3-21) for the presentation «Information technologies».
2nd place – Azatbek Kaparov (ITS-2-21) with a presentation «Web development in our lives».
1st place – Zhibek Orozmamatova (EPI-2-21) with a report «Transport system «Hyperloop».
The winners received valuable prizes, the other participants – certificates, and the students who asked the most interesting questions to the speakers were rewarded with sweet gifts.
