We choose the medical faculty!
High school students always face the problem of choosing a profession. Today it is becoming especially relevant in connection with the changes taking place in our society. It is also not easy to choose a university where you can get a modern, high-quality education.
It is known that professional choice, made taking into account such factors as the demand of the labor market, the requirements of the profession for a person and his individual characteristics, becomes the most important condition for the successful development of a profession, harmonious entry into work, the formation of a competitive professional, and ultimately – the well-being of his family. Medicine consistently leads the list «of dream professions». Only the most responsible school graduates strive to spend most of their lives in a white coat.
On March 17, at the Lyceum №61 Bishkek, associate professors of the Department of Histology, Embryology, Cytology of the Faculty of Medicine KRSU E. Sharova and E. Filipchenko, as well as 2nd year medical students P. Kuchmasova, N. Mansurova, B. Kultaeva (LD-16-20) held an event on career guidance.
43 high school students took part in the event. Purpose of the event – specialized and professional guidance of schoolchildren – potential applicants to the Faculty of Medicine KRSU.
Our students and teachers introduced the children to the admission rules, the history of the university and the medical faculty, and the educational, scientific and cultural life of KRSU medical students.
Diagnosis of the profile orientation of students was carried out using a quiz game on biology and medicine, created by Associate Professor E. Sharova and students.
