KazanForum discussed the role of youth and universities in international cooperation

On the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum «Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum», Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov took part in the session «International partnership with OIC universities: synergy of education, culture and creative projects» dedicated to the development of humanitarian and educational cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.The discussion was moderated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leila Fazleeva. Participants discussed issues of youth interaction, the development of creative industries and the role of universities in strengthening international humanitarian dialogue.«Today it is young people who are forming new international connections and joint humanitarian projects», — noted Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation Ekaterina Ivanova.During the discussion, special attention was paid to supporting young professionals, developing student initiatives and expanding cooperation between universities in Russia and OIC countries. One of the initiatives was the proposal to create an international competition for young designers from the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.«Through education, culture and joint projects, trust is formed between countries and long-term partnerships are created», — emphasized Ekaterina Ivanova.The participation of KRSU in KazanForum events confirms the university’s involvement in the international educational and humanitarian agenda, as well as the development of partnerships with countries of the Islamic world.
