At the congress of the Association of Dermatovenereologists and Cosmetologists of Uzbekistan

On October 7-8, Associate Professor of the Department of Dermatovenereology and Phthisiology KRSU Alizhon Baltabaev took part in VIII International Congress of the Association of Dermatovenereologists and Cosmetologists of Uzbekistan.

Delegations from all countries of Central Asia, far and near abroad arrived at the forum. Presentations were made by world experts – dermatovenerologists and pathologists, authors of international peer-reviewed publications and monographs on socially significant dermatoses, such as: vesical dermatoses – professor Razzaque Ahmed (Boston, USA), dermatoscopy – professor Nelli Konnikova (USA), dermatopathology in the diagnosis of precancerous diseases – Rossitza Lazova (USA) and Paola Pasquali (Spain), diagnosis of genetic diseases – Roni P. Dodiuk-Gad (Israel), the use of ultrasound in the diagnosis of skin tumors – Professor Bezugly (Germany) and many others. etc.

The congress program turned out to be very rich and took place in several sections, where problems of origin, modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis, allergic dermatoses, alopecia and genetic dermatoses were covered. Modern multifunctional lasers and dermatocosmetological agents were demonstrated in separate classrooms. At separate sections, reports were made on molecular biological methods of treating psoriasis and the results of their use in Uzbekistan.

The experience and knowledge gained will allow our department to expand the capabilities of diagnosing diseases of the skin and its appendages, especially in terms of dermoscopy and dermatopathology. They will be introduced into the educational process of students and reported at a meeting of the Society of Dermatologists of the Kyrgyz Republic.
