An Open Day was held at the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU

The Medical Faculty of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University hosted an Open Day for schoolchildren who dream of becoming doctors. The event, filled with live communication, useful information and creative performances, became a real holiday for all participants.

The meeting was opened by the head of the department «Anatomy and OKHTA», Ph.D. Gubanov Boris. Senior lecturer of the department «Normal Physiology» Elmira Momunova told schoolchildren about the disciplines taught: «Normal Physiology» and «Workshop on Physiology».

Students of 1-5 years in the specialties «General Medicine», «Pediatrics» and «Dentistry» took an active part in the event. They organized a tour of the academic buildings and departments, introducing guests to the academic and extracurricular life of the faculty.

The event was given a special atmosphere by a welcoming concert, during which the students’ everyday life and their creative performances were demonstrated. At the end of the meeting, representatives of the surgical club «Imperium» held a master class, demonstrating basic surgical skills to schoolchildren.

Future applicants and their accompanying teachers expressed gratitude for the rich program and warm welcome. The students, in turn, noted the sincere interest of the children and happily shared their impressions of their favorite faculty.
