The IV Open Student Pirogov Forum started at the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU
The IV Open Student Pirogov Forum, dedicated to the memory of surgeons — Heroes of Kyrgyzstan, Academician M.M., opened at the Faculty of Medicine of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. Mamakeev and Professor E.Kh. Akramova. The event was organized by the Department of Anatomy, Topographic Anatomy and Operational Surgery KRSU with the participation of teachers and invited experts from leading medical universities in Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan.
The opening took place in the «Anatomical Museum» and began with welcoming speeches by the university leadership and representatives of the medical faculty. Speakers noted the importance of the forum as a professional platform that brings together students and young scientists involved in morphology, surgery and related areas. The importance of students' scientific activity and the development of practice-oriented learning were separately emphasized.
After the ceremonial part, the participants began plenary messages. The speeches touched upon issues of surgery, anatomy, clinical practice and the role of outstanding surgeons of Kyrgyzstan in the formation of a medical school. Students and young researchers presented their work under the guidance of scientific mentors from the department.
The first day of the forum ended with a sectional session «Achievements of students and young scientists in morphology and innovation. Methods of teaching morphological disciplines». The program includes — research on age-related tissue changes, anatomical features, imaging issues, microstructural analysis, morphological aspects of diseases and modern teaching methods.
The forum confirmed the active position of the student scientific community KRSU in the discussion of significant study programs of medical science.
