The Faculty of Medicine hosted a round table dedicated to World Liver Day
On April 18, a round table dedicated to World Liver Day was held at the Department of Therapy №1 KRSU specialties «Pediatrics» and «Dentistry».
This event was held as part of the work program of the department's student scientific circle on internal medicine.
The purpose of the round table is – to form motivation for students to study the problems of gastroenterology, draw attention to the relevance of the role of the liver in the pathogenesis and clinic of internal diseases, identify gifted students and ensure the realization of their creative potential, develop a student scientific circle at the department of therapy №1.
At the round table meeting, 8 reports were announced:

- A. Kambarova, A. Vasilenko «Etiopathogenesis of gastrointestinal diseases among students. Risk factors».
- E. Ismailov, N. Sverdlov, R. Nasyrova «Poisoning with a pale toadstool».
- E. Mohammad, Sh. Murzaeva, «Celiac disease».
- A. Kutlikova, Kazybek K. A, «Krigler-Nayyar syndrome».
- M. Zhunushova, K. Shamilzhan «Wilson-Konovalov disease».
- Z. Rizk Al-Kasabi, Shumaeva E. «Amebiaz. Causes, symptoms and treatment».
Participants took the preparation of reports seriously and responsibly. Each work was meaningful, originally illustrated, and touched on current topics in gastroenterology. It should be noted that during the meeting, the event participants asked a total of 42 questions. Particularly impressive was the students-speakers' deep mastery of scientific materials, which was felt when answering the questions asked of them.
The following students were awarded diplomas and commemorative prizes (educational literature on internal medicine)
