The Faculty of Medicine hosted an Olympiad dedicated to World Day of Healthy Digestion
On March 25, at the Department of Therapy №1, an intra-university Olympiad was held dedicated to World Day of Healthy Digestion, which is celebrated on May 29, and the 30th anniversary of KRSU named after. B. Yeltsin. This World Day was established by WHO in 1958 with the aim of drawing public attention to the problems of digestive disorders in humans, as well as reminding about the importance of preventing and treating digestive disorders.
The active organizer of the Olympiad was teacher A. Smirnova, who is the head of the research work of the department. The event brought together students III courses of all specialties (general practitioners, pediatricians, dentists), as well as foreign general practitioners III courses taught in English.
The Olympiad pursued such goals as expanding and deepening knowledge in the propaedeutics of internal diseases, creating motivation to study this discipline, identifying gifted students and ensuring the realization of their creative potential, as well as exchanging skills and knowledge, and further developing the student scientific circle.
According to the program, the following team competitions were held: team business cards, crossword puzzle, homework, clinical situational tasks and quiz.
It is worth noting that all students, when performing the assigned tasks, demonstrated high knowledge, the ability to work in a team and support each other, as well as find joint solutions to difficult clinical situations.
Based on the results of the competition, a diploma I I the degree was awarded to the team «Gas Sector» (captain – Alexander Tyumin, gr. LD-6-20). Diplomas II the degree was awarded to the team «GASTRObeiters» (captain – Ruslan Rozakhunov, gr. PD-5-20), «Gastric Gladiators» (captain of– Godasu Seshagiri Rao, gr. LDi-5-20). III the place was shared by the teams «Oddi» (captain – Bayel Kozhogulov, gr. PD-1-20), «BAD» (captain – Rufat Alimov, gr. SD-5-20), «Digestive Dynamos» (Talasu Sai Chandra Satwik LDi-1-20). Also, the participating teams «Guts are not thin» (captain – Rifat Mamedov, gr. SD-1-20) and «Yazvochki» (captain – Nazira Musaeva, gr. LD-5-20).
In addition, all Olympiad participants received memorable prizes and gifts.
