At SPIEF 2026, the creation of a new generation of campuses was discussed

On the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum — 2026, the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov visited the stand of the Chelyabinsk region, where he met with the Minister of Education and Science of the region Vitaly Litke, General Director of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works Pavel Shilyaev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC «MMK» Viktor Rashnikov, General Director of JSC «Concern «Uralvagonzavod» Alexander Potapov, Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Chelyabinsk Region Alexander Goncharov as well as representatives of the industrial and business community of the Southern Urals.During the meeting, we discussed the experience of implementing a world-class interuniversity campus in Chelyabinsk - one of the largest educational projects in the country, which is being created with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and leading industrial enterprises in the region.«The experience of the Chelyabinsk region is especially valuable for us in implementing the project for the new KRSU campus», noted Sergey Volkov.The new KRSU campus will be built in Kashka-Suu and will become one of the largest educational facilities in Central Asia.
