A series of guest lectures by Yuri Garmaev — a famous Russian criminologist, Doctor of Law, Professor, has started at the Faculty of Law of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.Yuri Petrovich — retired senior adviser to justice, Honorary worker in the field of education of the Russian Federation, Honored Lawyer of the Republic of Buryatia. His professional and scientific background makes meeting students particularly valuable in terms of practice-oriented learning.The lectures examine modern approaches to crime investigation, current issues of law enforcement practice, as well as key scientific aspects of criminology.
