Our victories at the international Olympiad dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birth of Academician I. Akhunbaeva

The whole of last week turned out to be very busy for our faculty in holding student events!

First of all, it should be noted that representatives of the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU took the most interested part in the 1st International Olympiad of Medical University Students, dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birth of Academician I. Akhunbaeva, which took place on March 23 of this year. in the congress hall of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.

An intellectual competition between teams from 12 universities in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan opened on this site.

The Olympiad was held in Russian and English in 10 medical fundamental disciplines, which were represented by student experts nominated by the departments. 18 people from KRSU participated in all disciplines required by the Olympiad program.

The event was opened with their welcoming words by the vice-rectors of KSMA N. Mamatov and G. Zhunusaliev. KRSU Vice-Rector for Strategic Development of the Medical Field, Professor A. Zarifyan, also addressed good parting words to the participants.

After this, the assembled audience was shown videos – «business cards» of the participating teams, from among which, according to many, the business card «of the Slavs» stood out clearly.

And then the work of the sections began. A large burden fell on the shoulders of the jury of the competition of scientific reports chaired by Professor Zh. Sharshenbiev and the panels of judges of the sections of fundamental disciplines: microbiology, histology, medbiology, human anatomy, normal physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry, pathanatomy, topographic anatomy. The competitive part in all cases consisted of 3 stages, including testing, oral questioning or solving situational problems, and testing practical skills.

By the end of the afternoon, all the juries were able to sum up the results of their work, announcing the names of the winners who took prizes in specific sections with differentiation into Russian-speaking and English-speaking.

Based on the results of the Olympiad, KRSU students received the following places:

Normal physiology: 1st place – Dastan Malikov, gr. LD-17-21 (Head – senior Lecturer at the Department of Normal Physiology Elmira Momunova);

3rd place – Rupesh Kumar Gutti, gr. LDi-1-18 (Head – Assistant Professor of Department normal physiology Chinara Makimbetova).

Microbiology: 2nd place – Odilsher Mukhamedaliev, gr. LD-10-21 (Head – Head of the Department of Microbiology, Professor Gulai Sadybakasova);

2-e place <TAG1> Judson Paul Kogatam, gr. LDi-3-18 (Head – Senior Lecturer, Department of Microbiology Chingiz Imanaliev).

Biological chemistry: 3rd place – Medetbek kyzy Nuskayim, gr. LD-13-20 (Head – Head of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Associate Professor Natalya Matyushchenko);

3-e place <TAG1> Katari Sai Nithin, gr. LDi-5-20 (Head – Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Inna Ibraeva).

Human anatomy: 3rd place – Aidana Abyltaeva, gr. LD-1-21 (Head – senior Lecturer at the Department of Anatomy, Topographic Anatomy and Operational Surgery Anton Gabaidulin);

2nd place – Satya Venkat Vanga gr. LDi-2-18 (Head – senior lecturer of the department anatomy, topographic anatomy and surgical surgery Vera Lobzeva).

Topographic anatomy: 2nd place – Firuza Israilova, gr. LD-8-19 (Head – associate Professor of Anatomy, Topographic Anatomy and Operational Surgery Anvar Beisembayev);

1-e place <TAG1> Ramachandra Naidu Jaddu, gr. LDi 3-19 (same manager).

Medical biology: 1st place – Aman Alymkulov, gr. SD-1-22 (Head – associate Professor of the Department of Physics, Medical. computer science and biology Ainagul Niyazalieva).

Histology, cytology and embryology: 2nd place – Nargiza Akhmedova, gr. LD-7-21 (head – head. department histology, embryology, cytology Olga Kalugina);

3rd place – Geethika Chalamalasetti, gr. LDi-8-18 (same supervisor).

Pathological physiology: 3rd place – Bogdan Ryazantsev, gr. LD-7-20 (Head – associate Professor of the Department of Pathological Physiology Inobat Abdumalikova);

2nd place – Pranay Bhaskar Bammidi, gr. LDi-2-18 (supervisor the same one).

Pathological anatomy: 2nd place – Nazira Musaeva, gr. LD-7-20 (Head – senior Lecturer at the Department of Pathological Anatomy Ruslan Orozaliev);

3rd place – Akhil Pedada, gr. LDi-2-18 (supervisor same).

Forensic medicine: 2nd place – Rama Krishna Tulala, gr. LDi-3-19 (supervisor – head Department of Forensic Medicine Nurlan Ismailov).

Thus, the KRSU medical faculty had: 3 first places, 8 second and 7 third. Moreover, 10 of them were won by our students – representatives of great India.

Elementary logic dictates that in this situation of places, the faculty team should have taken 2nd team place in the overall standings. However, for some reason, the overall result was not summed up, just as the teams’ business cards were not assessed, although they were provided as a prerequisite.

In general, the Olympiad was sincere, coordinated and interesting, which evokes feelings of gratitude and deep respect for its organizer, the main medical university of our country – KSMA named after. Academician I. Akhunbaeva!
