Ours are in Stavropol
From July 10 to 24, students of the economics and natural sciences faculties of KRSU took part in the project «Summer University» from NCFU. Here's what our guys said about the trip.
Ekaterina Ermakova, ETF student:
– We really enjoyed the trip to Stavropol – we attended interesting lectures and practical classes, added to our knowledge, and made friends with guys from Kazakhstan and Syria.
The lectures were held mainly in a live format – the speakers gave many examples from life and professional activities. There were master classes and trainings on how to present and behave correctly during an interview, how to competently write a resume, etc.
I remember the lectures on cybersecurity, at which the expert spoke about the investigations of cybercrimes that he solved, cases that are at the stage of searching for additional evidence, and shared advice on what to do if a cybercrime occurs before your eyes and how not to miss out on attackers.
In addition to training sessions, the children visited city museums and went to Mineralnye Vody in Pyatigorsk and Kislovodsk (unfortunately, I missed these cultural events due to a week-long quarantine).
Nikita Gerashchenko, ETF student:
–The stay in Stavropol turned out to be eventful thanks to the organizers «of the Summer University» and activists – they prepared a large program (both educational and cultural and entertainment) for the participants.
I learned a lot about data protection and how cybercriminals operate. Teachers and trainers with extensive experience in solving cybercrime showed us the equipment used in cyber defense and also talked about basic data protection methods.
The final stage of the training was a social project, during the creation of which all KRSU students of the program «Cybersecurity Incident Management» rallied and learned to work in a team, showing a high level of knowledge.
