Our graduates: Aibek Kurenkeev
The hero of the column “Our graduates” Aibek Kurenkeev was born on June 8, 1984 in Bishkek. Graduated from the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Faculty of Economics, Finance and Credit, Financial Management.
He began his career in 2002-2003. from the position of project manager in the Software Developers Alliance; further at the Training and Consulting Center, financial consultant; then work at Areopagus-Bishkek, financial analyst; 2007 — M&P company, Dushanbe (Tajikistan), financial director; 2007-2008 — Shoro CJSC, director of the logistics department; 2008-20010 — ISR Consult, director; 2010-2014 — non-state funded pension fund "Kyrgyzstan", general Director; 2014-2016 — OJSC "KyrgyzTelecom", branch "Bishkek City Telephone Network", director.
In 2017-2021, he headed the Association of Telecom Operators, since August 1, 2021 — Electronic Commerce Association, co-founder, president;
Since September 8, 2023 — CEO of Mega, one of the leaders in cellular communications in the Kyrgyz Republic.
We contacted Aibek Suerbekovich, he shared his message to KRSU students and applicants:
“Friends, greetings!
The times of university– are something special, exciting and nostalgic. Just like you, I sat in the classrooms until late, discussed project ideas with classmates and dreamed.
Today, I want to share with you a couple of tips that can help you on your path to success, but don’t forget to enjoy the moment and keep warm memories of your student years:
1. Dream, set goals, visualize. Good practice to keep a diary. This will help remove "emotional noise", structure thoughts and not lose your bearings and goals.
2. Try it and make mistakes. Allow yourself to be less than perfect and sometimes make mistakes. From a probability theory perspective, every mistake increases the chances of success and brings you closer to achieving your goal.
3. Choose your environment and environment so that you have room to grow. You and your potential are «the arithmetic mean» of the potential of your environment.
4. Make friends and communicate. Over the years, you will become nostalgic for your university years, and the memories may be even more pleasant.
