The scientific and practical conference «Neurophysiological readings» took place at KRSU

April 28, 2025 at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin held a scientific and practical conference with international participation «Neurophysiological Readings», dedicated to the memory of Professor Zinaida Abramovna Lupinskaya.

The main topic of the conference was the human microbiome and its impact on the development of diseases of the central nervous system. The event participants discussed modern approaches to studying the connection between intestinal microbiota and immunity, inflammatory processes and neurodegenerative diseases.

During the conference, reports were made by famous scientists and specialists, including:

- The role of nutrition in the formation of the gut microbiome (Prof. R.A. Khanferyan, RUDN);

- Axis «intestine — brain» in MS (ass. Shirin Talapbek kyzy, RUDN University);

- Genetics of Parkinson's disease (doctoral student C.E. Shambetova, Germany).

Practitioners, teachers, clinical residents and students took part in the event. The conference concluded with a stocktaking session where participants noted the importance of further research on the microbiome and its relationship to neurological diseases.
