New Year's gift from the Russian State University for the Humanities

In the first days of the new year 2022, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University received a New Year's gift from Moscow. The Russian State Humanitarian University (RGGU) acted as Santa Claus. The weight of the parcel sent by the university was 1327 kg. The New Year's gift contains 2,265 copies of books and 335 titles. Russian colleagues included scientific, popular science, reference, educational, technical, and fiction literature. Books will be added to the libraries of all 7 faculties, colleges and schools of KRSU.

The two universities have a long history of interaction and mutually beneficial cooperation. They successfully implement joint projects in the scientific and educational fields. Thus, scientists from the Russian State University for the Humanities and KRSU are working together on a book «Kyrgyzstan Studies», and in November 2021, during the joint holding of the Days of Russian Language and Culture, universities launched preparations for Year of the Russian language, which was declared in the Commonwealth in 2023 by decision of the heads of state of the CIS.
