About microwave heating of water
The publishing house KRSU has published a monograph by Professor Valery Lelevkin «Microwave Heating of Water», which examines the unique properties of water and its interaction with electromagnetic radiation.
Microwave heating of water enclosed in a glass container in the form of a flat layer, cylinder or sphere is carried out on the basis of solving MHD equations, taking into account nonlinear changes in the electromagnetic and thermophysical properties of water. The author of the book obtained some patterns of changes in water characteristics depending on the frequency and power of the electromagnetic field, geometry and size of the glass container.
The monograph is designed for a wide range of scientists, engineers and technologists dealing with the problems of interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter, and can also be useful as a teaching aid for graduate students and undergraduates.
