Olympiad in Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery: Knowledge, Experience and Calling

The Olympiad in Pediatric Surgery and Pediatrics was held at KRSU, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Department of Pediatric Surgery and International Children's Day. The event was attended by teams of 5th year students of the specialty «Pediatrics», who were united by a common desire — to learn to save the lives of the youngest patients.

The Olympiad included a theoretical quiz, «Battle of the Captains», practical tasks in «Stationary» format, knitting surgical knots, working with instruments and the final test — intestinal suture. Each stage was a test of knowledge, clinical thinking and team interaction.

At the end of the competition, the winners were the teams «Novopassito» (1st place), «Pixies» (2nd place), «Mini Doc-Pro» and «Surgeons of the Future» (3rd place).

Teachers and organizers were awarded letters of gratitude. In conclusion, the head of the department, Kalybek Mykyevich, presented the participants with methodological manuals on pediatric surgery — valuable materials that reflect practical experience and concern for the future generation of doctors.

The Olympics became not just a competition, but a real symbol of love for the profession and children.
