«They covered their lives»: a touching exhibition about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War was held at the KRSU school

A special event took place at the KRSU school — exhibition «They covered their lives», dedicated to the exploits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The organizers were the director of the Center for Historical and Cultural Heritage Leonid Sumarokov and the Russian Foundation «Harmony».

The exhibition became not just an exhibition, but a real dialogue between generations. Schoolchildren listened with genuine interest to historical lectures, asked questions, and most importantly — told the stories of their relatives who survived the war. The names of grandfathers and great-grandfathers, whose destinies were closely intertwined with the history of the country, were heard in the hall more than once.

Particular attention was drawn to the speech of the editors of the project «Loyalty to Victory 80». Their propaganda speeches about preserving memory sounded like a reminder: our history — is not just dates and facts, but living human destinies that cannot be forgotten.

The exhibition evoked a variety of emotions — from pride to light sadness. But the main thing is that it left in the hearts of the children — the realization that the memory of the past lives not only in textbooks, but also in ourselves.
