Opening of the International Institute of Further Education and Personnel Engineering at KRSU: a new stage in the development of educational partnerships
Today, the grand opening of the International Institute of Additional Education and Personnel Engineering took place at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The event was held at the highest level with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of government authorities of Kyrgyzstan, the leadership of KRSU and the Higher School of Economics (HSE, Russia).
The opening of the event began with a plenary discussion on the topic «Continuing education and business: international partnership in the context of sustainable development of the Kyrgyz Republic». During the discussion, experts from Russia and Kyrgyzstan discussed the importance of international cooperation in personnel training, adaptation of educational programs to market requirements and the prospects for introducing innovative approaches in education.
The research work of the State Tower «Formation of priority study programs personnel training for the Kyrgyz Republic using the example of KRSU» was also presented.
After the discussion, a ceremony was held to sign three significant agreements:
• Cooperation agreement between the National Research University «Higher School of Economics» (g. Moscow, Russian Federation) and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin (g. Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic);
• Partnership agreement between LLC «TS Solyushen» (g. Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation) and KRSU;
• Agreement between the Center for State Private Partnership under the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and KRSU.
These agreements were an important step in the development of educational and economic integration between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, providing students and graduates with new prospects in the international labor market.
The event culminated in the cutting of a symbolic red ribbon. The honorary mission was carried out by the senior director of the National Research University Higher School of Economics Andrey Lavrov and the acting rector of KRSU Sergey Volkov.

We are confident that this project will become an effective platform for the exchange of experience and the development of professional competencies», – noted Sergei Vakunov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kyrgyz Republic.
«Today we have laid a solid foundation for long-term cooperation with leading Russian educational and industrial partners. This is a new round in the development of the university, which will allow us to meet modern labor market requirements», – emphasized acting Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov.

We are pleased to be part of this process and are confident that cooperation with KRSU will bring tangible results», – said Andrey Lavrov.
The opening of the International Institute of Further Education and Personnel Engineering at KRSU was a landmark event that will strengthen educational ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, as well as create new opportunities for students, teachers and employers.
