Opening a window into the Russian world
December 29 in the hall of the main building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin, the winners of the 1st distance Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language and Russian as a non-native language «Window to the Russian World», organized on December 21-22 by the Institute of Russian Language KRSU, were awarded.
The test involved 29 citizens of China, the Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Jordan, Turkey, Australia and Iran, as well as 6 students and staff of universities, lyceums and schools of Kyrgyzstan – KRSU, International University of Kyrgyzstan, Osh Lyceum named after. Kurmanzhan Datki «Zapat», etc.
All participants, without exception, showed a high level of language training. The best of them in the nomination «Russian as a foreign language» were citizen of the Republic of Korea Lee Joshua (1st place), citizen of Hong Kong, student of the courses Russian as a foreign language KRSU Lam Hiu Lai (2nd place) and citizen of the People's Republic of China Lianliang Zhang (III place). The following were the prizes in the nomination «Russian as a non-native language»: Nurayim Satieva took 1st place, II – Munira Sharafudinova, III – Samat Narkeev.
All participants of the Olympiad received certificates, and the rector of KRSU, academician Vladimir Nifadiev presented the winners with certificates and memorable prizes, wishing them success in achieving new heights.
The organizers of the event hope that the Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language and a non-native language «Window to the Russian World» will become a good tradition of the university. Thanks to it, many of those who have chosen to study a rich, bright and multifaceted language as a hobby or future profession will be able to prove themselves, find new motivation that will definitely allow them to achieve their goal, and make sure that learning the Russian language – the language of the winners – is a special, difficult, but correct path.
