«Memory and spiritual experience of generations»

The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University hosted the republican stage of International Educational Readings, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and dedicated to the topic «Memory and spiritual experience of generations». The event brought together students, teachers, representatives of the clergy and everyone who cares about the memory of the events of the Second World War and the preservation of historical heritage.

Acting Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of such events for educating the younger generation. "The memory of the Great Patriotic War – is our common responsibility to future generations. We must transmit spiritual experiences and values that unite and strengthen our people," he noted.

The organizers of the readings were the Bishkek and Kyrgyz dioceses. During the speeches, students and guests shared stories about war heroes, their attitude to the events of that time, and also discussed the lessons that modern society can learn.
