Memory of heroes: a Victory Lesson was held at KRSU
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. N. Yeltsin hosted a «Victory Lesson» dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The event brought together students, teachers and guests seeking to preserve the memory of the heroism of their ancestors and pass it on to future generations.
As part of the «Victory Lesson», a concert was held where KRSU students read poetry and performed songs from the war years. A particularly touching moment was the presentation of the multimedia project «Panfilovtsy», created with the support of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic. With the help of artificial intelligence technologies, portraits of heroes of the 8th Guards Rifle Division named after I. came to life. V. Panfilov, formed in Frunze and Almaty in 1941. The presentation was accompanied by a song «Cranes», to the sounds of which the audience stood up, giving a standing ovation, many could not hold back their tears.
At the same time, the exhibition «Kyrgyzstan in the Great Patriotic War opened. Lessons of dedication and kindness», where exhibits from the Panfilov Division Museum were presented, including personal belongings of General Panfilov. The exhibition became a living reminder of the contribution of Kyrgyzstanis to the Victory and how important it is to preserve historical truth.
The culmination of the concert was the ceremonial dropping of white and blue balloons — symbols of peace and clear skies above the head into the hall. This vivid and emotional gesture reminded everyone present of the value of peace and the need to preserve it.
«The Victory Lesson» at KRSU became not just an event, but a deeply emotional event that strengthens the connection between generations and inspires young people to preserve the memory of the heroic past.
