In memory of associate professor KRSU Kadyrbek Bozov
On December 15, at the Department of Protection in Emergency Situations KRSU, three events were held in memory of the academician of the International Public Aitmatov Academy, the founder of the department and the Educational Scientific and Technical Center «Development of Civil Protection» KRSU and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Associate Professor Kadyrbek Dyushenalievich Bozov.
Firstly, the department organized the VI International Scientific and Practical Online Conference «Improving the system for forecasting, reducing and mitigating damage from hazards».
The event was attended by teachers from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction, scientists and experts in the field of civil protection, graduate students, undergraduates and students. They discussed scientific and practical achievements in the field of prevention and response to natural and man-made disasters, issues of developing new methods and proposals for enhancing and introducing promising developments in the activities of organizations involved in disaster risk management. A collection of materials was published as a result of the event.
At the conference, it was announced that the decision made at the Academic Council of the university was to name the department after K.D. Bozova.

Secondly, a mini-football tournament was held among 1st-4th year students of the above-mentioned department. 8 teams took part in the competition.
The winners of the competition were the 4th year team (ZChS-1-2-18). Here are the names of the champions: Syimyk Zattarbekov, Nursultan Zhumabekov, Kubat Alimbekov, Marles Amirbekov, Nurbergen Aitoktorov, Sher Uzenov. The main prize was 5000 som.
The team of the group ZChS-2-19 was in second place, and the team of the group ZChS-1-20 was in third place.
Thirdly, the department held a competition «Best Student of the Year», the main goal of which was – increasing students' motivation for educational, scientific, practical, sports and social activities. The winner this year was Nursultan Zhumabekov, a student of the ZChS-2-18 group. Children and grandchildren of Kadyrbek Dyushenalievich the laureate was awarded a scholarship in the amount of 5000 som.
