A galaxy of future economists
On April 1, the Department of Foreign Languages KRSU held the annual Interuniversity Student Scientific and Practical Conference online «World Economy in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Challenges and prospects», which was attended by 1st and 2nd year students of the Faculty of Economics, as well as students of the Academy of Tourism.
acting, Dean of the Faculty of Economics N. Brovko and Head of the Department of Foreign Languages M. Yurchenko, addressed the participants with words of greeting, noting the importance of the event for the professional growth of future specialists and wishing all speakers a successful speech at the conference and success in realizing their life goals.
Economics students made presentations on current issues of our time: analysis of the positive and negative consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, their impact on the development of the world economy in general and the economy of Kyrgyzstan in particular, as well as attempts to make forecasts for the future development of the planet.
All speakers performed well, demonstrating good command of professional English.
According to the results of the conference, third place was shared by KRSU students – S. Turbin, D. Kozhevnikova and Tourism Academy student A. Marsbekova, second place was won by E. Moldousupova and A. Abdraev (Economics Faculty). The jury awarded first place to K. Beishembaeva and A. Zhanybekov (economy department).
All conference participants were awarded certificates, and the winners – valuable prizes.
At the end of the event, the jury members noted that the high level of speeches at the student conference indicates that KRSU is raising a worthy galaxy of future economists.
