For reasons of financial security
From May 23 to 25, within the walls of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Zhusup Abdrakhmanov, a republican Olympiad on financial security was held, organized by the State Financial Intelligence Service under the Ministry of Finance together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The purpose of the event is – to popularize issues of financial security and combating the financing of terrorist activities and the legalization (laundering) of criminal proceeds among students of educational organizations of higher professional education in Kyrgyzstan.
As part of the Olympiad, a team workshop and discussion panels were held with representatives of financial intelligence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Committee for National Security, representatives of the National Bank and the Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic. In addition, representatives of commercial banks and employees of payment organizations were invited to the discussion, to whom the Olympiad participants asked questions related to the practical application of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic on combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
Students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took an active part in the Republican Olympiad and took prizes.

In the field «Jurisprudence»:
II place – Murat tegeni Iskender (Faculty of Law, program «Legal support for economic security in the field of combating the legalization (laundering) of criminal proceeds»).
The prize-winning KRSU students were among the 10 strongest participants selected for the Kyrgyz Republic team that will represent the country at the International Olympiad on Financial Security from October 10 to 14, 2022 in Sochi.
