To the winners and participants of the quiz «Russian language experts» – hurray!
Institute of Russian Language of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin conducted a distance quiz «Russian Language Experts» for students in grades 7-8 of secondary schools in the Kyrgyz Republic with Russian, Kyrgyz and Uzbek languages of instruction. Its goal was to stimulate the educational activities of students, cultivate interest in learning the Russian language, develop creative abilities and increase the level of general erudition of schoolchildren.
A total of 68 teams (309 students) took part in the quiz, representing all regions of the republic:
- Chui region: Bishkek, Kara-Balta, Shopokov, village. Novo-Nikolaevka;
- Osh region: Osh, Nookat, Kara-Suu, village. Ken-Jylga, s. Zhosholu (Alai district), village. Kozhoke (Nookat District);
- Jalal-Abad region: Tash-Kumyr, Kochkor-Ata, village. Bazar-Korgon, p. Abdraimov (Bazar-Korgon district);
- Batken region: Batken, Kyzyl-Kiya, Kadamzhai, village. Kara-Bak, s. Kyzyl Bel;
- Naryn region: Naryn, village them. Kalinina (At-Bashinsky district);
- Issyk-Kul region: s. Barskoon (Jeti-Oguz district), village. Issyk-Kul (Tyupsky district).
The quiz content included 15 tasks on knowledge of sections of the subject «Russian language», developed in accordance with the basic requirements of secondary school programs. However, within an hour and a half, participants had to demonstrate not only their mastery of the program material, but also solve linguistic problems, answer non-standard questions and delve into the history of the Russian language.
All teams successfully completed a set of tasks, showing a good level of training in the subject. Separately, it is worth noting that the remote format of the quiz gave its participants the opportunity to show their computer skills and the ability to use modern electronic communication tools.
