The results of the book trailer competition for the works of N.V. Gogol have been summed up
Institute of Russian Language named after. A. O. Orusbaev KRSU named after. B. N. Yeltsin, from March 21 to April 15, held a competition of book trailers for the works of Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol (1809 – 1852), dedicated to the 215th anniversary of the great writer of Russian and world literature.
Goals and objectives of the competition – to attract the attention of Kyrgyz schoolchildren to the works of N.V. Gogol; introduce children to high literature through such a type of modern presentation of a work of art as a book trailer. All this should contribute to familiarization with reading, to creative understanding of literary works, to a broader view of life.
Schoolchildren in grades 8-11 of secondary schools of the Kyrgyz Republic with Russian, Kyrgyz, and Uzbek languages of instruction were invited to participate in the event.
When choosing a work to create a book trailer, the guys mainly preferred such works as «The Night Before Christmas, «The Inspector General», «Viy», «Overcoat», «Nose», «Taras Bulba», «Evenings on a farm near Dikanka».
The total number of participants was 60 people – schoolchildren from Osh, Jalal-Abad, Issyk-Kul, Batken, Talas regions of the republic.
It was difficult to evaluate the guys: some works submitted to the competition did not meet the specified requirements. Mostly, children used material from the Internet, which unified the presented videos. The original performance was noted by a smaller number of contestants.
Based on the results of the competition, three prizes were determined.
I place <TAG1> Ruslan Nematov, 10th grade student with the Uzbek language of instruction at the boarding school – 4 named after. U. Matkarimova, Razzakov, Batken region.
II place <TAG1> Daniel Turarbekov, 10th grade student with the Kyrgyz language of instruction, secondary school named after. K. Chylabaeva, p. Barskoon, Issyk-Kul region.
III place <TAG1> Zhenishova Perizat, 9th grade student with the Kyrgyz language of instruction, secondary school named after. K. Zhantosheva, p. Tepke, Issyk-Kul region.
Gift certificates for the purchase of store chain goods «Rarity» and diplomas to the winners, as well as letters of gratitude to teacher-mentors will be presented at the Institute of Russian Language KRSU.

Orusbaeva KRSU congratulates the winners and all participants of the competition, and also expresses gratitude to the teachers of Russian language and literature for their assistance in preparing book trailers, in particular – Burkhanova Taalaikan Mustafayevna, Arymbaeva Tursunbub Mukalykovna, Dzhunsayeva Aigul Valievna.
